The stories of Frederick Douglass & Harriet Tubman

They were both born on plantations in Maryland in the early 1800s and despite all odds, escaped from the institution of slavery and spent their lives working for the betterment of humanity. Audience members will sit spellbound as Bill Perryman, dressed in 19th century attire, brings to life the dramatic stories and accomplishments of Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman.

Historical slide images compliment this performance. A post-performance discussion follows the forty minute monologue.
